Domestic/ Laundry Assistant

We are looking to recruit Part-Time Domestic and Laundry Assistants to join our team and work.
Successful candidates will work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness of linen, towels and residents’ personal clothing, and to ensure an adequate supply of these items at all time. Successful applicants will also work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the Care Home, whilst ensuring a safe, comfortable environment at all times.

Experience working with an elderly care environment would be advantageous but is not essential for this role. 
The position available range from 24 - 30 hours a week and offers a first-class working environment coupled with being part of a motivated and enthusiastic team.

Activities Co-ordinator 

We are looking to recruit an Activities Co-ordinator to join our team.
Applicants for this position must have a genuine interest in working with the elderly and demonstrate the ability to engage with residents and their families. 
Previous experience in planning and delivering a stimulating and varied programme of activities, outings, and events is desirable along with the ability to organise our team to assist. Developing strong links with the local community, schools, businesses and building a network of volunteers in order to enhance and enrich the residents daily living experience is also important for this role.
A satisfactory PVG check applies to this position and applicants must old a full (clean) driving licence.

Carers 

We are looking to recruit Carers to join our friendly nights team here at The Porterbrook care home.
Your main responsibility will be to provide personal care for each resident, attending to their needs by recognising and facilitating the personal requirements of each resident. You’ll also be closely involved in the general activities of the home, and responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, staff members, and visitors. Your daily routine will be as varied as the needs of the people you are looking after.
Applicants must have a genuine interest in working with elderly residents within a caring environment and a willingness to participate in Vocational Training Programmes would be ideal. Applicants should be able to communicate effectively and fluently at all levels and be comfortable working as part of a team.
Experience is required for this position and a satisfactory, enhanced DBS check applies.
The position is 3 x 12-hour weekly shifts and offers a first-class working environment coupled with being part of a motivated and enthusiastic team.
