Careers

Whether you’re passionate about providing excellent care, cooking delicious meals, or organising engaging activities for residents, you’ll quickly become a part of The Porterbrook family.

Every resident of ours brings with them a distinct personality as well as a set of specific needs that must be addressed. At The Porterbrook Care Home, we’re always on the lookout for new talent to join our fantastic staff and help us provide exceptional care. Could an apprenticeship be for you? Funded work-based qualifications are available for all job roles and range from Level 2 – 7, arranged in partnership with HIT Training and Connect2Care.

**Unfortunately, we do not have any allocations to sponsor overseas applicants at this moment in time.**

Apply For a Job With Us

Every individual at the Porterbrook Care Home team is dedicated to providing our residents and their families with quality, customised care and kindness. You, too, can become a member of The Porterbrook family by applying for one of our job opportunities.

Whatever position you have at The Porterbrook Care Home, you will always greet our residents with a smile and a friendly presence. The team at our home is committed to delivering the highest possible quality of care and assistance to all of our residents, and we’re looking for employees who share that commitment. If you believe you’d be a good fit, please don’t hesitate to submit an application to one of our job vacancies.

If you are entering a care home for a job interview, you must show proof of vaccination unless you are exempt.

The regulations also apply to new staff recruited by the registered provider. It is highly important that only new recruits that have been fully vaccinated of an approved COVID-19 vaccine or are medically exempt from the requirements are allowed to work in the care home. Care homes should notify prospective staff of the requirement at the start of the application process and undertake appropriate checks throughout the recruitment process. This ensures the individual is eligible to work in the care home. It will only be possible for a new member of staff to work in the care home once they have provided evidence of their COVID-19 vaccine.

We look forward to receiving your application.
