Halloween at The Porterbrook

Two women at a Halloween party: one woman with a white wig, and an elderly woman sitting happily on a chair wearing a witch hat.

We had so much fun over the Halloween season. Like always, communal areas of the home were decorated in scary decorations and staff were dressed up in their finest Halloween costumes to get everyone in the spooky mood.

Some residents had their nails done in the salon with wonderful Halloween designs and others had a go at pumpkin carving. Sweet treats were made for residents and staff, cleverly decorated by our kitchen team.

It was a wonderful atmosphere on the day of Halloween and residents were keen to dress up alongside staff. There was so much delicious food enjoyed by all, as well as plenty of activities for residents to partake in including bingo, karaoke, dancing and much more.

Both residents and staff thoroughly enjoyed this year's Halloween celebration, and we can't wait to celebrate the next big occasion.
