The Porterbrook boasts a warm, welcoming atmosphere and offers a variety of highly-rated amenities, including our popular Hair Salon and Treatment Room. Residents are encouraged to visit these areas, which have been tastefully decorated to provide a calm atmosphere in which residents may rest and enjoy being pampered by our amazing staff.

Our resident hairdresser and nail technician visit every Tuesday and Thursday, and they are qualified experts that go above and beyond to ensure that all residents have an enjoyable time while in their capable hands.

Our residents can unwind and enjoy some well-deserved alone time in the Hair Salon and Treatment Room, or have a natter with one of the staff; whatever our residents desire, our experienced beauty professionals go above and beyond to make it happen.

The focus at our hair salon and treatment room lies in providing residents with essential treatments, including hair washes, cuts, and blowdries, as well as manicures and pedicures. Should residents want any other specific hair or beauty treatment, they are encouraged to request this from our team, and we will endeavor to accommodate their needs. This may incur an extra charge.

Our care home invites professional hairdressers and beauty therapists on a weekly basis, ensuring that our residents receive the finest treatments. While appointments can be scheduled, we also include routine pamper sessions in our activities programme, emphasising a holistic approach to wellbeing and relaxation.

Residents can take advantage of our in-house hair & beauty salon services without any additional fees, as it is a part of our all-inclusive offering covered within the monthly fee. However, any additional requests beyond our standard treatments may result in extra charges.
